Started 8 years ago by a good friend Rick, this run has turned into a Delmarva Biker Tradition! This year Robert Windsor will open up his shop New Years Day and welcome in all bikers for traditional Good Luck Black Eyed Peas and a full menu of eastern shore delicacies! Im still waiting on cost and times, but this is one tradition we should all be looking into!
What: Black Eyed Pea Run
Where: Cycle Creations, New Church VA. More info coming on a meetup point in the OC / Salisbury area. I have been informed that my last information was incorrect.
(Head south on Rt 13, when you reach the MD/VA line, you will be about a 1/2 mile from Cycle Creations on your right side)
When: January 1, 2010 12 noon start, $7 includes food and possible live entertainment.
Who: Everyone is invited!

Heres the info dudes and dudettes...
Karens Black-Eyed Pea Run...
New Years Day 12pm-6pm
$7.00 admission which of course covers black-eyed peas and more on the menu...
Plus also should be live entertainment
Best party on the shore for the New Year...
Karen and Robert wanted me to tell ya that cars are welcome if can't ride a bike...But we ain't puss's are we DMVB??? We're Riding!!! First day of the year...Ya got to!!!

OK..thanks..in past years we met all met in Salisbury and Rick led us on the ride to Cycle Creations. I will check with Rick and see if he is leading a ride there again.

Hey Everyone,
The Blackeyed Pea Run is a ride led by Rick who started the run...I called him and the ride starts at McDonalds at Nanicoke Road and 50 in Salisbury...be there at 10:30am , ride leaves at 11:00am sharp. The ride will not go if it is raining...but everything is still a go at Cycle Creations...so if it is raining u be on your own...but if not see ya at MCDonalds.

As usual, this was one hell of a nice way to start up the year! Robert and Cycle Creations pulled out all the stops with everything from chicken wings and homemade potatoe salad to traditional Black Eyed Peas! Had an awesome time seeing old friends and making some new ones! Look for a photo update shortly...
