hi all, my summer has been less than spectacular. it started off in April with a trip to outerbanks NC., for bikeweek. meet some friends in secretary MD. i was riding pos.#3 out of 5 with my wife on the back. only rode for about 15 min. when making a lefthand turn a deer came up out of a ditch, tried to brake and miss him but no luck. hit him in ass, lost control of bike and hit loose gravel at edge of road. laid it down, hit grass and high sided over into a ditch at about 40mph. wife only got bruises and scratches, i took the brunt of the fall, broke shoulder, tore a 50 cent size chunk out of my forearm just below left elbow, road-rash rest of arm, whole left side of my body took pretty good beating. after shoulder healed had rotater cuff surgery, so i have been out of work all summer(no riding!!!). was looking forward to riding with steve and grimmus and everyone else again this summer, but no dice. have just started riding again this past week. can only ride short distances for now(arm and shoulder weak still). trying to get back into shape for some fall riding(when i say fall i mean season ha ha). hope to see you guys soon, maybe at oasis. stay cool, ride hard.                                                             BRYAN  S.

Wow, hate to hear this.  Stay chilly, dont buck the doctors too much and take err easy bro.  Its all about taking care of yourself first and foremost.  The rides and the wind are always there waiting for ya.  Its important that you be ready to get back in the swing...

Keep us posted on how it goes.  We can certainly get in a short ride sometime, maybe bikeweek (not too far from ya I hope...).
