Good question, huh? Why in the hell would someone spend countless hours creating a monster like this and then put even more into it... The entire site save the message board and calendar are custom porgrammed PHP dynamic webapges. Hundreds of hours of programming and testing, trying new things, Crazy huh? I guess it all started about 15 years ago when I bought my first bike from a friend in Ocean City for $200. I put a few hundred into it, and it served me well for a few years. I had a blast running up and down the back alleys of OC, scaring the tourists and enjoying the sun... I will never forget those days and the fun adventures I had.
That bike didnt last long of course, and other expenses and responsibilities always seemed to take precedence. These days, Im able to afford a bike, so 2 years back I took a look at the HD website and decided on a Sportster 1200 R. 10 grand and a few days later, there I was tooling up and down Delmarva on my new ride. The next year it was pipes and a windshield and even more fun! Biker events and new friends, new backroads and new places to explore all awaited!
One thing was missing though... It seemed like everytime the weekend came around, I realy had no idea what was going on where. There are sites galore with biker events all laid out, but info on the Delmarva area is spread out all over. I thought, wouldnt it be cool to have everything I can do all in one place? A calendar with events, a message board, a place to organize shops to get work done, cool places to go, you name it. Well, here it is... I hope you all enjoy.
Thanks Steven Winslow
